Leslie Sacks Gallery, Santa Monica presents a group exhibition of works titled ‘Temple of Flora.’The featured artists include Ellsworth Kelly, Marc Quinn, Alex Katz, Minjung Kim, Donald Sultan, Georges Braque and Bruce Cohen. Ellsworth Kelly (1923–2015) was an American painter, sculptor, and printmaker associated with hard-edge painting, Color Field painting and minimalism. Marc Quinn (b. 1964) is a British contemporary visual artist. He is a member of the loose group known as the Young British Artists. Alex Katz (b. 1927) is an American figurative artist. In particular, he is known for his paintings, sculptures, and prints and is represented by numerous galleries internationally. Minjung Kim (b. 1962) is a contemporary Korean artist best known for her subtle formal compositions on layered paper.Donald Sultan (b. 1951) Donald K. Sultan is an American painter, sculptor, and printmaker, particularly well-known for large-scale still life paintings and the use of industrial materials such as tar, enamel, spackle and vinyl tiles. Georges Braque (1882–1963) Georges Braque was a major 20th-century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. Bruce Cohen is known for engaging his viewers with intriguing interiors in his distinctive, crisp, realist style.
